Put MyPG.news on your Home Screen.

It works like an app, but there is nothing to buy and no app store to visit. Follow the large, simple steps below.

    If you are already using Safari, stay here.

    It looks like a square with an arrow pointing up: □↑

    Scroll down and tap “Add to Home Screen.”

    If you do not see it immediately, keep scrolling through the Share menu.

    The MyPG icon will appear with your other apps. Open it whenever you want local news.

    It is usually at the upper-right of the screen.

    The MyPG icon will appear on your Home Screen.

    Click the install icon if it appears.

    Choose “Install MyPG.news” or “Apps,” then “Install this site as an app.”

After MyPG is on your Home Screen, open the MyPG icon, return to this page and tap the notification button above. Your phone will ask for permission. Choose Allow.

MyPG.news cannot see your other apps, messages, contacts or location. Notifications can be turned off here or in your device settings.
