NWS says the heat can affect people who are sensitive to heat, especially anyone without effective cooling or adequate hydration. It advises drinking water, bringing water to vulnerable people, wearing lightweight clothing and limiting strenuous outdoor activity to the cooler early-morning or evening hours.
